Overview
Free accounts received through affiliate rewards, competition prizes or giveaway promotions are subject to a maximum total payout limit.
Affiliate, giveaway and most competition prize accounts
$500
Maximum total payout per account.
$100,000 competition prize accounts
$2,000
Maximum total payout per account.
Competition prize exception
The $500 payout cap applies to all competition prizes except $100,000 competition prize accounts, which have a $2,000 payout cap.
This payout cap applies to the entire account, not to each individual payout request.
How the Payout Cap Works
Once a trader reaches the applicable total payout cap in payouts before profit split from that free account, the account will be closed.
After that point, no further payouts can be requested or received from that same free account.
Is the Payout Cap Per Payout?
No. The payout cap is for the full lifetime of the account, not per payout.
For example, if a trader receives one payout of $300 and then another payout of $200 from the same free account with a $500 cap, the total cap of $500 will have been reached and the account will then be closed.
For a $100,000 competition prize account, the same lifetime-account principle applies, but the total payout cap is $2,000.
What Happens After the Account Reaches the Cap?
Once the account reaches the maximum payout amount:
the account will be closed
no additional payouts will be available from that same account
the trader would need to either:
receive or win a new free account, if applicable, or
use their payout to purchase a regular non-free account
Do Regular Purchased Accounts Have This Cap?
No. This payout cap applies only to free accounts received through affiliate rewards, competition prizes or giveaways.
A regular purchased account does not carry this free-account payout cap.
