Every month, Moneta Funded hosts a free two-week trading competition open to eligible traders.
Participants receive a dedicated competition account and compete to generate the highest profit while remaining within the Daily Loss and Maximum Loss limits set for that month.
How do I join a competition?
To participate:
Create a Moneta Funded account if you do not already have one.
2. Complete KYC verification.
3. Log in to your Moneta Funded trading dashboard.
4. Go to the Competitions page.
5. Select Join Competition while registration is open.
Once the competition begins, your competition account will be activated and you can start trading.
How does the competition process work?
To participate in the competition, please follow these steps:
Complete and pass KYC verification.
Register for the competition through your dashboard.
After registration, your competition account will be created automatically.
The account may appear as read-only before the competition begins. This is normal.
You can check the competition countdown in your dashboard.
Once the competition officially starts, your account will be activated and you can begin trading.
The current competition starts on 29 June at 00:00 UTC.
The competition will run for 2 weeks.
The current competition ends on 13 July at 00:00 UTC.
After the competition ends, winners will receive an email confirming their prize.
Support will contact the winners with the next steps to claim their prize.
Is the competition free to enter?
Yes. Entry to the monthly competition is completely free.
Is KYC required?
Yes. KYC must be completed before you can join the competition.
You will not be able to select the participation option until your KYC verification has been completed.
How many competition accounts can I have?
Each trader may participate with one competition account only.
Which trading platform is used?
Monthly competition accounts are available on MetaTrader 5 only.
What is the goal of the competition?
The goal is to generate as much profit as possible during the competition period while staying within the applicable Daily Loss and Maximum Loss limits.
Traders are ranked based on their performance, and the highest-ranked eligible participants may receive prizes.
What rules apply?
The current monthly competition has the following risk limits:
Daily Loss Limit: 5%
Maximum Loss Limit: 10%
Please note that the competition Max Loss is static. This means the maximum loss level does not trail or move based on profits made during the competition.
The risk limits may change for future competitions. Traders should always check the Competitions page for the current competition’s rules before beginning.
Apart from the applicable risk limits and anti-cheating requirements, there are no additional strategy restrictions.
The following are allowed:
News trading
Holding trades during news events
Overnight holding
Weekend holding
What activity is not allowed?
Cheating or attempting to gain an unfair advantage is not allowed.
A trader may be disqualified if Moneta Funded detects or suspects activity such as:
Multiple competition entries by the same person
Multiple entries connected to the same IP address
Copy trading between different participants or accounts
Reverse trading using multiple accounts
Using another person’s identity or account
What prizes are available?
The prize pool changes each month and may include:
Cash prizes
Moneta Funded prop trading accounts
A chance for all participants to win prop trading accounts

Where can I see the current competition leaderboard?
The current competition leaderboard is available on the Competitions page.
The leaderboard is updated every 15 minutes.
How are winners announced?
Winners will be contacted directly by the Moneta Funded Support Team.
