Trading Objectives
Phase 1
To pass Phase 1, traders must:
Achieve a 5% profit target on the account (for example, $5,000 on a $100,000 account)
Generate profits across a minimum of 3 trading days
Follow all trading rules and risk limits
Phase 2
To pass Phase 2, traders must:
Achieve a 10% profit target on the account (for example, $10,000 on a $100,000 account)
Generate profits across a minimum of 3 trading days
Follow all trading rules and risk limits
Funded Account Payouts
Once both phases have been completed successfully and all trading rules have been followed, traders may request payouts of $100 or more every 14 days.
Challenge Fee Refund: You are eligible to receive a full refund of your initial Challenge registration fee after successfully reaching your 4th payout on the same challenge account.
Account Violations
Floating loss: The max floating-loss trigger on a funded 2-Step account depends on your drawdown option — 3% on the same symbol for the 5% Daily Loss option, and 2% on the same symbol for the 4% Daily Loss option.
Daily Loss Limit
Important Points:
The Daily Loss Limit is calculated based on your Balance or Equity, whichever is higher, at the rollover snapshot, minus the Daily Loss amount for your account size.
The Daily Loss amount is calculated based on your initial account size.
The Daily Loss amount is 5% (Standard configuration) or 4% (4% / 8% configuration) of your initial account size. The daily rollover snapshot occurs at 22:00 UTC. A violation occurs if your Equity drops below the calculated breach level at any point during the day.
Example (Standard 5% configuration, $100,000 account)
The Daily Loss amount = 5% of $100,000 (initial size) = $5,000.
On a fresh $100,000 account, the breach level is $100,000 − $5,000 = $95,000.
If your balance grows to $120,000, the breach level at the next rollover snapshot is $120,000 − $5,000 = $115,000 (the amount stays $5,000 because it is based on your initial $100,000 size, not your current balance).
If your equity falls below the breach level, the account is breached. (On the 4% configuration, the Daily Loss amount would be $4,000, so the breach level on a fresh account would be $96,000.)
Maximum Loss Limit (Static)
The maximum cumulative loss across all trading days is 10% (Standard configuration) or 8% (4% / 8% configuration) of your account, based on your initial account size.
This limit applies across the lifetime of the account (it is not a single-day limit). Exceeding it, including through floating losses, will result in an account breach. A violation occurs if your Equity drops below the calculated breach level.
Example ($100,000 account)
Standard (10%): your equity must not fall below $90,000 across all trading days.
4% / 8% configuration (8%): your equity must not fall below $92,000 across all trading days.
Max Floating Loss
On funded 2-Step accounts, a limit also applies to how much floating (unrealized) loss can build up on a single symbol or trade idea. This threshold depends on your drawdown configuration:
5% daily loss (Standard) configuration: 3% floating loss on the same symbol
4% daily loss configuration: 2% floating loss on the same symbol
Reaching this threshold closes the open trades on that symbol and moves the account to a stricter 1.5% risk-per-trade-idea limit; exceeding 1.5% after that results in a breach. For full details, see Max Floating Loss Allowed on Funded Accounts.
