The Phoenix Scaling Program

How Moneta Funded's Scaling Program Works

Updated over a week ago

Moneta Funded’s Phoenix Scaling Program is designed to reward traders who demonstrate consistency, discipline, and profitability over time. It gives traders the opportunity to scale their account gradually throughout their trading journey, offering a structured path to larger account sizes.

Unlike a traditional scaling model that only applies after funding, the Phoenix Scaling Program allows eligible traders to progress through multiple levels as they meet the required targets.

How It Works

The Phoenix Scaling Program automatically progresses traders to the next level once the required target for their current level has been achieved. Traders may begin at Level 1, Level 2, Level 3, or Level 4.

To scale to the next level, traders must achieve a 10% profit target on their current account. Once this target is reached, the 10% profit is converted into withdrawable credit on the next level.

That credit may be withdrawn on the next payout, provided the trader has met the payout requirements, including the 14-day minimum payout interval and 3 minimum profitable days.

Example

A trader who starts at Level 2 ($5,000) and reaches the 10% profit target ($500) will automatically scale to Level 3 ($10,000). The $500 profit will then be converted into withdrawable credit.

At that stage, the trader has two options:

Option 1 – Continue Scaling
The trader may continue trading and work toward the Level 3 profit target of 10% ($1,000). Once that target is reached, the account will scale to the next level.

Option 2 – Request a Payout
After the minimum 14-day trading period from the first trade has passed and at least 3 profitable days have been completed, the trader may request a payout. Any new profits generated on the Level 3 account can be withdrawn together with the $500 credit.

For example, if the trader earns an additional $200 on the Level 3 account, they may request a payout of $700 ($500 credit + $200 profit), provided the payout conditions are met.

Please note that if the trader withdraws that $700, they will still need to generate the full Level 3 profit target of 10% ($1,000) in order to scale to the next level.

Risk Limits

Daily Loss Limit

The Daily Loss Limit is 3% of your Balance or Equity, whichever is higher.

While the Daily Loss Limit is calculated based on your Balance or Equity, whichever is higher, a violation occurs if your Equity drops below the calculated Breach Level.

Example:

For a $100,000 account, a 3% Daily Loss Limit means the breach level would be $97,000.

Your Equity must not fall below $97,000 within a single trading day.

Maximum Loss Limit (Static)

The Maximum Loss Limit is 6% and is based on a static drawdown model.

This means the maximum loss limit does not trail upward as the account grows.

It remains fixed based on the account size for the current scaling level.

Example:

For a $100,000 account, a 6% Maximum Loss Limit means the lowest allowed level is $94,000.

If your Equity drops below $94,000, the account will be breached.

Important Notes

  • Profit carried from one level to the next is added as withdrawable credit

  • Carried profit does not contribute toward the next level’s new target

  • Daily Loss and Max Loss are based on the current scaled-up account size
